The Tool is the Message

"The Tool is the Message" is a series of five animations that have been generated with a custom collage software called "The Low tech Painting Machine", built with Processing. The LTPM follows the prompt (for humans) of the 128KB framework: "create a GIF with code, not larger than 128KB". With this series, Tim Rodenbröker describes the series as "a demonstration how limits can turn into powerful drivers of creativity and convey a subversive attitude towards mainstream computering".
